Asia Unlocked

Part of the global launch for Marriott Bonvoy, this 2019 branded content campaign was designed to give CNN Travel audiences insight into APAC’s 13 most desirable leisure destinations. From inspiring vistas to brilliant coral reefs and bewitching rituals, the site brings audiences a side of Asia they have never seen and inspire them to pack their bags for a spectacular trip around Asia.

Visual Focus

It was important to provide a seamless navigation experience for the user and for them to be able to easily click through to the Marriott booking page after reading the content. To meet these objectives, I designed the site with a horizontal nav bar. This allowed the user to easily navigate through multiple destinations and for the Marriott Bonvoy branding and call-to-action to stay within the browser window at all times.

Location Titles  To ensure each destination’s page felt unique and tailored while still fitting within the modular design of the site, a different typeface was chosen for each.
